1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the FreshLoad Rentals website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

These Terms are a binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and Thomas Roberts, DBA FreshLoad Rentals (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Services Provided

FreshLoad Rentals provides residential washer and dryer rentals in the Indianapolis, Indiana metro area, including delivery, installation, and basic maintenance for the duration of the rental.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time, with reasonable notice when possible.

3. Eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the legal authority to enter a rental agreement
  • Provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information
  • Reside within our service area (Indianapolis, IN metro and nearby communities)

4. Rental Agreement & Payments

By renting a washer and/or dryer from us, you agree to the terms of your signed rental contract, including monthly payments, installation, and maintenance terms.

  • Payment processor: All payments and subscriptions are handled securely through Stripe. We do not store or have access to full payment card details.
  • Recurring payments: If you enroll in auto-pay, Stripe securely stores your payment token for recurring billing until canceled.
  • Missed payments: Late or missed payments may result in suspension of service or equipment pickup.
  • Taxes: Sales tax applies to all rentals where required by law.

5. Delivery, Installation, and Maintenance

  • Delivery & setup: We will deliver and install the rental units at the agreed-upon address. The area must have working hookups, electricity, and proper drainage.
  • Maintenance: We cover normal wear-and-tear repairs. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or alteration may result in repair or replacement charges.
  • Pickup: When your rental ends, you agree to allow pickup of the equipment in good condition, aside from normal use.

6. Use of Equipment

  • Use the equipment only for residential purposes.
  • Operate machines per standard home appliance safety and care instructions.
  • Not resell, modify, or relocate equipment without written consent.
  • Report any malfunctions promptly.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreshLoad Rentals and Thomas Roberts are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our equipment or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total rental fees paid during the rental period in question.

8. Warranties

We make no express or implied warranties beyond what is required by law. All equipment is provided “as-is” for normal household use, and we will make reasonable efforts to ensure equipment is functional and safe upon delivery.

9. Account & Communication

By providing your phone number or email, you consent to receive messages related to your rental, delivery, and service updates. You can opt out of marketing messages anytime by following unsubscribe instructions or replying STOP to text messages.

10. Scheduling Tools

We may use third-party scheduling platforms (such as Squarespace Scheduling, Stripe Appointments, or similar) to arrange deliveries or maintenance visits. By using these tools, you consent to the processing of your contact information for scheduling purposes.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend service if you breach these Terms, fail to make payments, or misuse the equipment. You may terminate your rental agreement as allowed in your contract by contacting us and arranging equipment pickup.

12. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts located in Marion County, Indiana.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will post an updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
